Terms of service
1. The service
Clarv is a web application that reads a seller's Amazon and bank data (and other marketplaces' data as Clarv adds them), with the seller's authorisation, and produces reconciliations, accounting entries, tax workings and operational screens. It is a tool for the seller and its accountant; the seller remains responsible for the returns it files and the entries it posts.
2. Accounts
The seller names its users and their roles and is responsible for what they do. Credentials are personal; sharing them is a breach. We may suspend an account that threatens the service or other sellers.
3. Marketplace authorisations
The seller authorises Clarv to read its Amazon data through the Selling Partner API and may revoke that authorisation at any time in Seller Central. Clarv writes to a marketplace only on a user's explicit approval in the application.
4. Fees
As published on the pricing page or agreed in writing, billed monthly in advance, exclusive of GST. Either party may end a monthly plan at the end of the month; annual plans are refunded pro rata for whole months not used.
5. Data
The seller owns its data. We process it only as the privacy policy describes, keep it on AWS in India, and delete it within 30 days of a request or of the account closing.
6. Accuracy and limits
Clarv reads what Amazon, the bank and the seller give it and says, on every figure, where it came from and what it could not verify. It does not give tax or legal advice; a chartered accountant's judgement is still the seller's to obtain. Our liability is limited to the fees paid in the twelve months before a claim.
7. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India; courts at Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh have jurisdiction.
